Kainos - North Bristol Youth Celebration

NEW CONTENT : Treasure hunting with a difference in Feb & Mar

The word kainos is Greek for 'new' or 'fresh.'

At Kainos Youth Celebrations we want to be open to the new and fresh things that God wants to do in and through us.

Kainos meets monthly at The Old School Rooms at St Michael's Church in Stoke Gifford and is for young people in the North Bristol area. The vision is to inspire and equip young people as followers of Jesus to make a difference for Him. It's open to any young people or youth groups who fancy coming along. People come from Stoke Gifford, Bradley Stoke, Downend, Kingswood, Thornbury, Filton, Frampton Cottrell etc. Kainos has been running since November 2010. It's been a real privilege for the team to see God move in the lives of those who come and see some give their lives to Jesus and to see young people inspired to go out onto the streets to share their faith with others.

The Cafe opens at 6pm and provides a place for people to hang out, connect with other Christians from the area. It's also a safe place for people to bring their mates to.

The Celebrations start at 7pm. There's band led worship, space for creative prayer and art, relevant biblical talks and opportunity to receive prayer ministry.

In addition to the celebrations we provide and promote mission opportunities across the area so that we can put our faith into practice.

Vision

A monthly youth celebration for young people in the North Bristol area. To equip young followers of Jesus and reach others who don't know Him!

Serving as a resource to youth groups and churches in the area complimenting any existing youth work.
